Dr. Boland has been in private practice providing psychological services to francophone and anglophone clients in the Ottawa area with Gilmour Psychological Services for over 25 years. She works in a collaborative and holistic manner with young adults, adults, seniors, and couples who struggle with various life difficulties such as unresolved hurts, conflicts and traumas from family of origin, posttraumatic stress disorder, relationship difficulties, workplace issues, fragile self-esteem, aging, losses and grieving, and spiritual/religious concerns.

She has training and experience in a number of important psychotherapeutic approaches and works to integrate them in her interventions. These include cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), schema-focused therapy, compassion-focused therapy, internal family systems (IFS), Mindfulness, and experiential approaches such as focusing, eye movement desensitization and reprocessing (EMDR), sensorimotor therapy, and Brainspotting.
